INVITATION TO TENDER:
Samaritans Ireland is inviting interested parties to submit a proposal
to review the existing digital presence of Samaritans Ireland (both
Ireland and Northern Ireland) and make recommendations, with projected
costs, for improvement that meet the organisations governance,
communication, service delivery and fundraising needs. Recommendations
should be supported by forecasted costs and detail resources required
to build and maintain.
ABOUT SAMARITANS IRELAND:
Samaritans? vision is that fewer people die by suicide. Our mission
is to provide round the clock emotional support so people can talk
about problems that are causing emotional distress and/or putting them

Samaritans Ireland is an Irish registered charity, with the main

* To support the activities of Samaritans branches in the Ireland and
Northern Ireland in fulfilling their mission of being available

support for people who are experiencing feelings of emotional distress
or despair including those that may lead to suicide;
* To promote a better understanding in society of suicide, suicidal
behaviour and the value of expressing feelings which may otherwise

Samaritans Ireland is part of the Samaritans Central Charity, based in
Ewell in the UK, and together we provide services to our branch
network and offer support in areas such as branch property,
communications, data protection, fundraising, finance, operations, IT,
knowledge/research, policy, procurement, quality of service, risk
management, service development, service support and volunteering.
ABOUT THIS PROJECT:
As part of a larger governance and structure review of Samaritans
Ireland and its relationship with Samaritans UK, a review of the
existing webpages for Samaritans Ireland is required with
recommendations for improvement and re-build/re-design. For Samaritans
Ireland, it is important that the digital presence reflects the
organisational brand and vision. It also needs to provide the best
experience for a range of users across Ireland and Northern Ireland.
The digital presence of Samaritans Ireland needs to be compliant with
statutory requirements in both jurisdictions, north and south. It is a
key tool for communicating to a wide range of audiences; this includes
campaigns and advocacy/influencing aspects of the organisations work.
